What Edelbrock carb size do I need?
What Edelbrock carb size should be good for this motor:
Engine is BBC 502 ci
Compression: 9.5:1
Heads: Stock GM 502 heads
Camshaft: Comp Cams 280
Intake manifold: Stock GM 502 intake
It's in a street car sort of weekend warrior type.
What is the PN for the correct carb size?

I'm sure if you look at a GM 502 crate motor they will have what they recommend for it. I have always been under the impression that big blocks like dominators so I would say throw one on there.

Skip the Edlebrock and put a Quickfuel carb onto it, # SS-830 for a full street trim type car ( http://www.quickfueltechnology.com ). If you don't need a choke and want more of the strip type performance I would look a the # Q-850. These carbs have multi port fuel injection response! I have been really impressed with them right out of the box. I would atleast put a Holley on over the Edlebrock, it will save you time, money, disapointment, and the frustration of messing with the Edlebrock (they may be easy to work on but have MANY down sides to them).
