Default camaro motor swap

Hey im lookin for a camaro or a trans am and i found one of the v6 five speeds and i was wondering if a 350 SBC would fit into the car without ne serious complications...

should fit no problem but wiring and rear end would probly need to be swapped or just go carb.

It takes some work, mine started out a V6, there is a thread about it that should answer most of your questions.

Yea im gunna put a carb on it...but would it be the same as installing it into the v8 version...as far as mounting the motor...becuz i kno i have to make a conversion bracket to put a gen 1 in place of the lt1, at least thats wut i been told...

No, first you need to change your K-member to one from a LT1 car, after that you can use the stock LT1 mounts if you weld some 1/8" steel to the driver side mount so you can drill the 3rd hole, only 2 line up, the passenger side is okay. That or you can just buy the BMR SBC/BBC conversion K-member.
