Default Performer rpm vs rpm air gap

Hey guys i am building a sbc and i was wondering how much hp and tq i could gain by using a performer rpm air gap over the performer rpm. I have a 350, comp 218/224 duration .462/.469 lift cam, vortec heads, approx. 9.5:1 compression ratio, and a holley carb(havent bought it yet so i could go with any carb size). right now i have the performer rpm intake but i want to know if it would be worth it to sent it back and get the air gap version.

Thanks

I would keep the Performer RPM and use a 600 cfm carb, that cam won't need to go over 6,000 rpm and with a 350, 600 will be plenty, you can also use a 650.

If you already have the regular RPM, stick with it, if you were still looking i would say swing the air gap.

The 670 would be too much carb for this mild of cam. If he went with a Street Avenger carb I would recommend useing the 570 cfm carb. Personally, I would use a Road Demon for the price that they run. The 625 cfm carb would run quite well for him. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/625-R...m200223997935&
