well it was a pretty cool track and yall were right about tech. i pulled in and asked the guy at the gate where to tech in and he looked at me like i was stupid. a dude came down from tn with his s/c mustang and blew the rear out very first pass. feel for that man too...didnt trailer it down. My friend in the goat ran a 11.947@116.33 with et streets. he couldnt 60 with his street tires. I ran a 11.943@119.03 on my nittos. Pussed out and didnt throw my streets on. Too scared of snapping something that far from home. There also was a bad *** lightning out there. Not sure of his short time but was running 11.90s at 112! pretty cool guy too. Also some insanely fast bikes!

Are you going to be in the Bird? I hadn't heard if you've gotten it fixed yet.

I would've been there this past Sunday but I didn't get in bed til 3am Sunday morning and was too lazy to go to the track. I'm going this Sunday to see if my tune issue has been worked out, seems like it so far! (I think MSS has been working on my car.. crappy rebuilt transmission, whining rearend and the last 'tune'.)

Well guys you should prob take a rain check for this weekend. I would wait until another weekend and let the air get a lil better. This weekend the humidity will prob be horrible so I think if you want to see some good times you should prob wait for another weekend.

I made 3 runs. With these street tires it spun pretty bad. I got one good run in. I ran a spinning 13.4, a 13.14 after they prepped the track for the rail but still spun when I hit second, and a spinning off the line and missed 3rd gear gave me a 13.8. I just need to get my crap together and try again next year with some drag radials and a line lock. A 9" rear w/ 4.10's would be nice too, but that's not gonna happen for a while.

I didn't see what happened to the 335. I saw him and a wrx come in, but I left shortly after that. Since posting this, have you found out what happened to him?
