Ok guys, Im trying to get my times down on my daily driver for when the racing starts back up. My 60' ft's suck, so I wanna put a shorter tire on the back. Right now I have 4.10s and a 29.5" tire. I could buy a set of
16" or 17" rims for the rear. What size tire would put me at optimum gearing fr the track?

With 3.23 and a converter I can't hardly hook on the street but at the track it's dead hooking 1.6 to 1.5 60s so 3.42 should be a good place to start then go lower from there

Na those 50 series mickey's should be fine. If a 50 series doesn't work then you may want to lean on a 60 series.
Once you get that pig outta the hole, the 5.3 should move it down the track quite nicely.
