I have a 67' C-10 stepside pickup. complete truck minus motor and trans. I also have a 2005 5.3 L59 and harness still in an avalanche on our lot I'm using for this build. my goal is 500hp N/A with a th350 trans. would like to take it to the "Local strip" wink wink to beat down some high school buddies in their reg cab rams but will mainly be pounding the streets on the weekends. This will be my first build. i do major mechanic work as well as welding and minor fabrication work but have never built an engine. i know how they work i just have no idea what the process is and what i have to have to make it to my goal. this will be a budget build but id like it to be as reliable as possible with cost being kept in mind. i have no trans yet but am open to suggestions.
