Actually KP....it is not as exciting as I thought it might be. I guess cause i was so disappointed in my 60' and the tranny/converter. With a t400/4l80e and a tighter stall, i think it will pick up and run the numbers it is supposed to run.

Josh, I will be seeing you SOON

Then at least you know it will go quicker with a better 60' Problem is now that its a 9 second car no one will care until its an 8 second car LOL.

lol Kp you are so right!!! Funny aint it?!! You have a SOLID 9 sec car...mine just squeaked in once....I'd like to be a solid 9.90-10.0 car and i think it will happen. I can live with that and be plenty happy.

Congrats! Running 9's with a 4L60E and a stock rear is a very rare occurence, you might be the only one that I am aware of!!

Interesting how u went 110/142, I went 115.6/144. Maybe my car is falling off in the upper rpms.

How was the air when you raced? I raced on a 90F day in July.

Yours will be solid/mid 9s soon enough, you have the mph and you definately have the power. I took the light weight (if 3300lbs is really light ) and low horsepower approach and thats fairly easy. It takes a little more to get a 3800+ lb turbo car to 60 foot, just get a th400/trans brake and a 12 bolt and spend that track time working on your 60's and tuning and not worrying about something breaking

Congrats on the run Jerry. Once the weather finally cools down she'll get even faster. I need to get my tune wrapped up so I can get out to the track with you guys.

thanks again....I THINK i can do 144-145mph so I should have a few more .10s left in her We will see.
Yes it has been a long time coming. I think my converters have been holding me back some....it is hard to get the converter right on a turbo car. I wonder how far the 10bolt will go. I feel like it is being strained now.

That's an impressive jump in mph...I'm stuck in the 128's with my Incons at 13psi. Are you using the stage 1 turbos? NOS? I'd kill for your 60....I'm leaving at 2000 off the footbrake and no boost.

The car has more in it for sure...just gotta get it all to the ground Feels like i'm bouncing off the airbag.....gotta figure all that stuff out like the fast guys do. Now I guess we can test RockOns 4l80e build. I feel really confident that guys can install his 4l60 up to 700/700 with no problems
I've been talking to Dave about a 4l80e conversion. Hopefully I'll get some more information pretty soon. My turbo 408 arrived today, now I just have to get that PTE88 from Marko!

you need the tranny... a crossmember made which looks simple...a harness...a bodymount torque arm, torque converter...flywheel spacer....driveshaft shortened MAYBE (quicksilverado just needed a new yoke on his stock driveshaft) and the pcm modded to work the 4l80e. Gotta cut a small hole in the tunnel....and maybe beat it in a little for the tranny lines. It's been done already...just aint cheap
