:emissions in georgia:
just wondering if anyone has passed emissions (with straight emissions people) in georgia where emissions are required with headers,o2 sims and no cats or do you need to get cats and have them put on for emissions and taken back off after emissions?

yes you passed or yes you had to put your cats on to pass, do 02 sims send a good signal to the computer so you can pass or does it tell the emissions people that its been faked because i live in cherokee and it touches fulton for like 10 miles so we all have to have emissions even next to pickens county its bullshit. but im not sure how **** the people around here are about emissions like if they check for cats or not. im used to havin a diesel (no emissions)

I have never had anyone look at or under the car..they plug into your car under the steering column and let the cars PCM and the emission computer interact..end of story.. ..you do not have to be tested in the county that you live in... ..that might be food for thought..

From what I've been told as long as your car's "computer" tells the tester's "computer" that everything is in good working order. Then you will pass. Simple as that.
I pass every time with !cats, !muffler, ORY and O2 sims. Without having the LS1 edit.

All that matters is if your readiness codes, really.. if you remove egr/air.. if you put all your codes that are relevant for the egr/air to be on, but do not report.. it'll pass all readiness tests and your good to go.. I have hp tuners for a 99, and can do it for a small fee.. It might be sold very soon tho.. so let me know asap.
Peace,
Josh
