Default Great List!

Awesome list.....very impressive and informative!!!

FWIW, Herb Adams "FireAm" was built thru 1986. Here's the last "FireAm" built....a 1986 350 TPI with prototype ZR1 6 speed, Dana 44 rear and Brembo Brakes.

I know there were other third gen FireAm's but I personally have not seen another. This car is the best handling third gen I've ever driven.

The 2002 Collector's Edition Trans Am, was not an Anniversary Car . . . .

The 1999 was the 30th Anniversary . . .

2002 is only 3 years later so it would be the 33 rd Anniversary Edition. . . .

It was the 35th Anniversary of the 1967 Firebird (2002-1967 = 35).

1979, 1984, 1989, 1994 and 1999 were Anniversary models of the 1969 Trans Am.

Xsta is right though, Pontiac never called the CETA an anniversary car. Plus they never celebrated the anniversary of the Firebird, only the Trans Am.

Someone here locally has an SCE Firebird. I thought it was a riced out Firebird with a Trans Am spoiler bolted onto the low-rise V6 spoiler, but on closer inspection I found the spoiler was custom, the decals, and the special wheels... I usually see it parked in Triangle Plaza (or whatever it's called) where the 55 turns into Newport Blvd.
