check the 30th site
www.30th-ta.org
I'm not sure how many actual Pace Cars were built for track duty, but its usually no more than 3 (2 for duty and a backup) The rest of the DA cars were used for parade vehicles.
Now the "Pace Car" decal package was offered as a separate package you could purchase for your 30th if you wanted it.

I read through some of the 30th site and One of the members there has one of the actual track duty pace cars (coupe). The other track duty pace car (coupe) went to Pontiac. And the 3rd(which didn't do any track duty) stayed at the Daytona Track for special events. So all 3 Actual pace cars are accounted for.
As stated above only Convertibles were used for D.A. parade cars (drive away) and those came with D.A. decals affixed to the windshield under the VIN. Some have noted that some people have removed the D.A. stickers, though.
If you are looking at a Coupe with the Daytona decals on it then it is most likely a regular 30th with the Daytona aftermarket package. The Daytona package was made available to purchase to any 30th owner through a separate company.
