I've been attempting to get the ASC records for the other years, but from what I've gathered, nobody has ever put them into electronic format that would allow sharing or indexing. Thus, only those who have access to the physical boxes and boxes of paper files can get that information, even then its likely a tedious process to look up a particular VIN.

Hello I have a white ws6 trans am 2001. Is there any way u can help get my as number? What info do u need? It appears if may have a factory ls6 complete motor. I made a thread about it they suggested u may help. If its a true ls6 from factory and I can get proof it may be worth more than I expected. Thank u

Help Hello, my fellow F-body fanatics. My name is Justin and I have a good portion of ASC#s but some years as stated in other threads have holes or are pretty non-existent b/c of shady record keeping by ASC. So here's the breakdown. 02CE guys, I have 99-100%. 01-02 guys I have 99-100%. 00 guys, I have cars converted in July and Aug of 99. 99 guys, I have cars converted in Aug through March of 99. 98 guys, I have a good chunk of #'s except for red and black cars.
*IMPORTANT* 99-00 guys pls send the build date from the driver door sticker. 98 guys pls send your vehicle color. Hit me up anytime and I'll get back to you asap.

Now that I'm part of the WS6 clique, I did some digging.
I got my ASC build number by emailing Marcus at ASC:

This contact information is STILL GOOD for anyone trying to find ASC # for WS6. I used it last month to get my ASC# for my CETA. takes a bit of time for him to answer but you will find what you're looking for plus more

Well I was not expecting a response already. He got back to me within an hour.
Turns out my car is 1 of 12 and was the first of those 12 made!
