Default SLP BIlstein Suspension Package! Lowers the Car??

Got a 2000 SS and i bought it lowered and i dont like it. traction at the track sucks since it has no relocation brakets. I want to get the Bilstein package for it instead, but i was reading that the springs that are included the Eibach lower the car and inch is that right? and if so would i have to buy relocation brackets anyway cuz im trying to avoid that. Either way im gunna get the bilstein shocks cuz the rear ones are shot. So let me know what the deal is and what u think i should do thanks?Slp

IF you want traction, relocation brackets WILL help.

I don't think the relocation brackets will help at all w/the SLP bilstein suspension..

I had the SLP bilstein suspension on my car from the factory, and that comes with Eibach lowering springs, the car sits a little more than an inch lower...

Looks really good, handles awesome, sucks at the track, plain and simple...

I have the same suspension, what suspension would you recommend becuase I'm getting true duels and I don't want to have any clearance issues.

Any kind of lowering you will have serious problems running true duals...

Thats all I can say about that, I remember seeing PSJ's car w/stock V8 springs...and the mufflers were about 2 inches off the ground....and I think he was even having clearance issues...

I have to disagree. I have the SLP bilstein suspension on my firehawk. The only thing I changed was the control arms. I put Metco control arms on the car and a poly torque arm bushing. With that on my 26x11.5x15 Hoosiers I cut a best of 1.48 60' and routinely cut 1.50-1.55 60 foots with it. My times are in my sig.
