Default TH400 and 4L80E Stage 2 Sale!

New Shop Sale!

We finally completed the move to the new shop and are almost caught up to where we should be.

With the move into the new BIGGER shop has come some additional overhead, so prices on the units has or will be increasing.

I am running a sale on the Stage 2 4L80E's and TH400's. These do not require waiting for specialty components so we can build them without any unexpected delays.

Our 4L80E Stage 2 early core (most popular build) will be $2300 shipped and we will include the low gear transbrake for no additional cost if desired.

Our Stage 2 TH400 will be the normal pricing of $1350 but with free shipping within the cont. U.S.

New number is 877-433-5099.

Sorry guys, I almost never visit this area.

I rate the units at flywheel HP. Most of my ratings are fairly conservative. Our Stage 2 TH400's have been at WAY more than 750 HP but there are some caveats that the operator needs to know to help them live when you are over their rating.

Late model 4L80E's core is $750. My pricing includes the core, that is why there is such a large difference in pricing between a late and early. They cost me approximately the same to rebuild, some minor differences in pricing of internal parts but nothing significant.

For instance, if a customer supplies me a core, I simply take the early model pricing, and subtract $200. That would be the price to rebuild a customer supplied core. It's about the same cost for me to supply an early style core than for a customer to ship theirs.

I am interested in a Stage 2 4l80. I have a 6 spd right now, would I need to change the wire harness or is there a way to use the 6 spd harness? I also don't mind if it's manual valve body.

Does the early core have the same external plugs as a newer core? Im running a '10 ecu with a seperate tcm, would the tcm be able to control the older style trans? Im assuming it would since it doesnt seem like they changed the 80e's electronics too much since they came out in the early 90s.

Im also looking to go from my current t56 to an 80e. Besides obviously shipping to and from whats the difference in price if I were to send you a working 80 for a stage 2 rebuild compared to just buying a stage 2 80e from you? I know of an early core in working condition out of a 01 express van 2500 that was behind a 350 sbc (guessing even though its an 01 its still an early core since its behind a 350)

You can use the 6 speed harness with the manual setup, or you can use a conversion harness from Speartech to convert the 6 speed harness.

We install a new harness in all of our builds. If you provide a core it deducts $250 from our early core pricing. That would put you at $2050 right now with shipping back to you within the cont. U.S. to a freight terminal or business with forklift or dock.
What kind of vehicle do you have? 2010 Camaro? You may need to go to a standalone controller.

Our Stage 2 TH400 comes with a forward automatic or forward full manual VB.
We can upgrade it to a reverse pattern manual for $100 or a RMVB with transbrake for $300 additional.

Our Stage 3 build with all the billet shafts already includes a RMVB with transbrake for no additional charge.
