Default camaro convertible speaker mounting depth
can someone please tell me what the rear speaker mounting depth is on a 2001 camaro convertible?

It is around 2" to 2 1/2" and is a bit limited. The stock speakers in a vert for the rear area are pretty shallow. I have some speakers that fit well in that location. I even have 1/4" spacers you can use if you need something with a little extra depth.

the speakers i am getting have a 2 1/8 in mounting depth.... would a 1/2 in spacer be enough to clear the top components
