Default 2 way speakers in sail panel hook up

i have a 01 camaro with the monsoon system. i am wanting to delete my rear hatch speakers and put 2 ways in the sail panels. i know the factory sails are powered by low frequencys and that i have to pull the wires from the hatch speakers to the new sails. but when hooking up the 2 ways, can i put the low frequency wires and the hatch speaker wires to the speaker and have it work? or do i just leave the origanal sail speaker connector disconnected and not used? thanks

seems like you could. you will have to add some wire though. the hatch speakers are too over powering if you ask me.

If you mean coaxial when you say 2-way then no, you can't hook up both the hatch wiring and the sail panel wiring to those speakers.

If you are installing component speakers then you could use the sail panel wiring for the woofer and the hatch wiring for the tweeter.
