New idea? just a newbie to stereo..... Okay, I just bought this 2000 Camaro convertible and I love it. Except the sound. Everything disappears when the top is down. The other car I considered was a Jeep and I know they have the overhead speakers on the roll bar. So.....
Can I install tweeters where the sunvisors are? I'd take out the triangle things and run the wires through the holes in the windshield frame. But would they fit? Do you think it would be worth it? Anyone seen it done or have pics?

I had the same problem. The stock speakers suck, whether you have Monsoon or not. I bought the set of four CDT speakers Ian Kee recommended for the Convertible and it made a world of difference.
