Default MTX reQ5...anyone have one/installed one?

Just picked up an MTX reQ5 from Crutchfield so I can keep my stock radio and run an amp for a sub. Its a 5 channel volume sensing bass restoration device, basically it filters the audio to keep it clear and precise for the signal to the amps. Looks a little time consuming to hook up, you have to run all speaker inputs into it, so it is going to have to mount fairly close to the head unit. Just wondering if anyone has done this so I can get some hints/tips.

Oh and the reason I went this route is because I tried some of the cheaper audio converters in my Grand Prix and they all sucked. This thing has a lot more adjustability and you can fine tune the signals.
