Default PAC steering control module

I am getting an Alpine CDA-9886 head unit for my 2000 TA. I want to keep the steering wheel controls. Will this unit work or can you tell me which one will work?

I that's the older version.
The swi-jack replaced it.

I have the SWI-JACK for my CDA-9884 and it works perfectly.

I've got the SWI-JACK for my 9885 and it works great
