Default How much improvement with getting a better amp?

I am running some alpine type r coax 2-ways in my doors through monsoon amp.
Decent Panasonic headunit giving 50x4 watts(22rms)
2 jl audio 12w3 d6 in trunk box off a class d amp.

How much benefit in sound quality will I get upgrading to a real amp? Theres a few decent ones or used ones on ebay for like 100 bucks.

I feel the type-r's are slightly underpowered as their sound quality starts to break up at high volumes.

So youre running coaxial speakers off your headunit? As in you bypassed the monsoon amp? First of all get some good components in there, a good set of tweeters make a HUGE difference. As far as the amp goes, putting a better amp in there will sound alot better.

Kee Audio is the guy you want to talk to.

IMO
Look into a 5 channel amp,
'most are cheap and you can power all of your speakers.
Plan ahead on how your going to wire them.

the speakers you have are good ones, ive got them in the sails, with component type r's in the doors. id definalty go with a real amp though, you can get some pretty good four channel alpine stuff that doesnt cost that much
