Default When its hot outside... My amp stops working, and clicks?

Exactly what the thread title says...

When it gets hot outside. My amp stops powering my sub and makes "clicking" sounds... Any ideas?

I appreciate the help

Patrick.

the amp is just getting to hot, is the fan coming on in the amp (if it has one) and is it mounted right under your rear glass? if so i would move it somewhere else away from direct sun ligght

Stinger cross-flow fans: SGJ76 - Stinger 5-3/4", or SGJ78 - Stinger 8-1/4".
I've got a couple that I've been use for over 7yrs.
Wire them up with a relay and a switch, or a Stinger fan controller SGJ11, which is adjustable from 90-130 Degrees turn on/off.
