I read a few other posts about security light issues and I'm going to do the ohm checks(after I get back from an 8 day work trip), but my wife is going to drive the car off and on while I'm gone so here's my question. The security light came on the other day but I have no problems starting the car or anything. The light is just on. Should I be concerned the car could just stop starting one day if she drives it to work, or has anyone had a light just come on and never cause a problem? I obviously want to fix it but I didn't know if I should be concerned about her getting stranded. It isn't a huge issue if she does, both her family and mine are like 3-4 miles from her work and can get her home, I just didn't know if anyone else had the normal security light issues pop up after the light had been on for a while.
