Default Help with speakers

So, I currently have an Alpine Ida-x100 headunit with humount plate. Love the deck and the humount, but again I'm itching to modd. Looking to replace all speakers and add one 10 inch sub. What are your ideas? I'm not trying to win any competitions or spend my 401k, what brand sells a 10 that produces good bass? I would love larger subs, but don't welcome the added weight and reduced space.

Alpine type s speakers
Alpine type r 10
alpine mrpm500 for the bass amp
alpine mrpf300 for highs
that setup is very budget friendly and sounds really good.

Alpine makes very nice head units, but I've heard some negative feedback regarding their speakers. I'm willing to spend a tad more for better performance.

I like the type s, personally, but if you want to go a step up you could do the type r. Or if you want to go a different route as far as speaker brands, look into cdt from kee, jl, kicker rs, memphis m-class, mb quartz, diamond, focal.

Alpine Type S are great speakers for the price so is the r10 sub.

I have 3 way components in the front doors, type s speakers in the rear panels and r10 sub for bass.

I am not an audio junkie but its great for listening to rock/metal and even rap.
