Default voltage issue with headlights

hey ive had an issue with the voltage in my 99 trans am for a while now. when its cold out my voltage is fine. but now that its warmer out. when i drive for a while the voltage in my car drops from 13 to about 10 until i turn my headlights on then the voltage go's up to 13. ive replaced the battery and both headlight motors. ive unplugged the headlight motors and still the same problem. ive checked connections and on the driver side the harness for the lights and motor were corroded and had a bad connection. i cut the harness out and hard wired the wire. but still have the same problem. HELP PLEASE!!!

Default

get out the multimeter and check your battery for voltage and if that is good keep working downstream, otherwise its most likely your alt. Make sure all the terminals are tight on the battery and alt.
