Trans Am and Camaro Monsoon Door Speakers the same? I blew one of my door speakers and want to get a replacement. Are the Trans Am and Camaro Monsoon door speakers the same or interchangable? I know the Trans Am is component so I want to be sure before I pull the trigger.

Stock for stock they are not the same. Like you said, one (Firebird/Trans Am) is a seperate component set and the other (Camaro) is a coaxial but is wired seperately.
I use speakers from CDT that work in both cars because they are a seperate component set that can convert to a coaxial so they wire like stock and mount like stock in both cars. Plus you can aim the tweeters and they are MUCH better quality then stock.
