Default Camera Mount Questions

Hello All.

I did a search and found a few (albeit dated) recommendations for camera mounts. I don't have a roll cage in the car and would prefer not to install a bar in the back hatch to mount on because that space is useful when I have the t-tops out.

Anyone go a different direction on the camera mount? I'd prefer to mount inside to catch a good view of the road. Capturing the road and speedo isn't a primary concern, however it would be cool to be able to see both at the same time. Right now I'm leaning towards one of the "sticky pod" setups I could mount on the windshield (or even on the glass for the passenger side t-top) and extend the camera down to get the right angle.

Thanks!
