how boned am i?? put in a kenwood flip up dvd player in my formula about 4-5 months ago and now the lcd screen is cracked and i was wondering if its at all possible to just replace the screen instead of spending another 6-7 hundred on replacing the whole unit

After the cost of the screen and the labor it might be better buying a new one. My clarion touch screen cracked and to replace the screen was $175 less than a new one off ebay.

Get a quote from the kenwood service center. Depending on how new the kenwood is it should be worth it...Thats because the clarions are only $300 new. The screen cracked on my Alpine touchscreen and I had to get it fixed and it was under $150
