Using the fbody pontiac head unit in another car??
So I want to upgrade the sound in my 1995 bonneville and was wondering if the stock head unit from say..... a trans-am w/monsoon would work for my bonneville.
I know It will probably require me to make a custom wiring harness. I would really like to know if anyone might know of a quick and easy way of doing this!!!
here's a picture to see what my radio looks like....

thanks guys, i just really like the look of the stock unit since nothing else on the car is modified. and it sure would be nice to get rid of that cassette player lol

should be fine, the stock unit in my 92 bonneville was a tape deck as well and I always looked for a TA headunit for it.
I instead bougth a TA to replace the bonneville, so I never did the swap, but my aftermarket pioneer radio I put in the bonneville dropped right into my 98 TA, no changes in harness. (I believe even the mounts were the same)
