Gauges wont work...please help

Gauges wont work...please help okay ive got a 98 3.8v6 that im fixing for my lil brother, i just recently swapped a trans am dash and trans am interior harness out of 98-99 3.4v6 T/A into it, and i got everything working but the gauges, temp reads zero, fuel reads zero, oil pressure reads 120 when the car is running, volt meter works fine, the tach and speedo read zero while driving and these gauges lights are always on when the key is on or when the car is running: BRAKE, SERVICE ENGINE, SERVICE VEHICLE, AND ABS INOP, i have no idea what the problem is
and if you guys could help that would be great!

I could be wrong but i think i remember seeing reading somewhere that the 98 models gauges/clusters are different than the rest. Different in the way that u cant use a 99+ gauge on a 98 model
