Will a 2002 T/A head unit properly connect in a 1998 Camaro?

Will a 2002 T/A head unit properly connect in a 1998 Camaro? Like the title says my 1998 Camaro head unit CD player in now inop and I have a good low mileage head unit out of my 2002 trans am, will the connectors fit both and work properly in the camaro?

Yes the connectors are the same but not all the features will work and they look very different. The Camaro HU has speed compensated volume but the Firebird HU doesn't. The coloring of the face and controls is different and the illumination is red in Firebirds compared to blue/white in Camaros.
