Interesting, can you give a quick inner and outer diameter dimension on the spare tire rack? I may cut one out like that. What is "band director"? ...software for band saws?? I'll probably just have to pencil it with a compass and then free-hand it. Is it held in place with tie-wraps?

Band director is just a guy who has some f-body mods on his website, got the amp rack idea from him:

The measurement is just over 14". I say just over because mine is a hair big once I covered it - it fits, but it's real tight, in fact it would stay in place fine without anything else holding it in. The zip ties are for "just in case".

It was cut by hand with a jog saw, no fancy computers.

im guessing that a 10"?? do you have any more pics or anything of the box build,,, i like it,, im trying to find a way to keep my type r 12" without loseing my ttop storage location in the new car i bought. I dont really want to buy a large 2x12" box with that hole to slide them in,,, shipping for me in canada would suck plus i like building my own stuff.
