Default how to connect subwoofer

ive had a broken stock bose sub in the back of my 94 LT1 and havent had time to fix it. how do you connect a new 10" sub with the stock wiring?

i think to make the job worthwhile, you have a little more work than just connecting a couple wires, but the premise is one is ground and one is power. mock it up first before any soldering, and then switch them if you dont know which is which. when its wired right, the bass should be louder than wiring it backwards because then it would be out of phase with the rest of the car's speakers. the terminals on the speaker should be marked, but if not, you can do a 9V test or sometimes they make the positive terminal wider than the negative terminal.

maybe someone has a schematic, but you can just as soon figure it out how i said above. a multimeter will make it even quicker.
