My sub amp died. Which one would you do?

A - JL Audio Slash v2 Series 250/1v2 ($187) sub amp pushing an Infinity Kappa sub (currently installed in stealthbox) rated at 250 watts RMS that is 13 years old

or

B - Alpine MRP-M500 sub amp ($160) pushing an Alpine SWS-1023D 10" sub ($130)

A - would be cheaper ($187) and I think it would have better sound quality but would only be 250 watts RMS while option B - would be 500 watts RMS, have a higher price ($290), and I think would have lesser sound quality.

What do you guys think?

A heads up, you can get an Alpine Type R for $130 on eBay new.
