Default How to control sub with Alpine HU?

I have an Alpine CDA-9813 and cannot seem to control the my sub on a seperate amp with it. I have turned the SW on in the setup menu, but I cannot control the sub with the HU. I tried sliding the sub control up and down, but there is no difference in bass. I have the x-over set at 200. I know the sub is hooked up to the sub rca's as I double checked. The bass changes when I change MX settings, and when I play with the EQ, but I want to be able to control the bass with the main ****.

Anyone have any ideas??

Thanks,

make sure you have the sub output set to low pass. Id drop the xover down to around 80hz.

yeah drop it to about 80-60 depending on the sub. Make sure and recover over your wiring with the amp, sometimes mistakes are made. I have been installing car stereos for a while and it does happen.

Checked wiring. I only have a stereo amp powering a single sub in the rear, so there isnt much wiring to check. Still no changes to sub level?!?
