Must I change both front and rear bulbs to LED with an EL-12 electronic flasher?
I am about to install LED towers to replace my stock 3157 front turn signals on my '99 Camaro.
From what I've read, I have to buy 2 EL-12 electronic flashers (one for the turn signals, one of the hazards).
My question is, if I use these EL-12 flashers, can I just put LED bulbs at the front of the car or do I also need to change my rear turn signals? I'm not sure if these EL-12 flashers are compatible with regular incandescent bulbs.

Actually, you may have the opposite problem. It's not a question of whether the EL-12 flasher is compatible with standard incandescent bulbs (it is) but whether it can handle an all LED setup. Several people have experienced problems and had to buy electronic flashers that are specified for "all LED" use. The total circuit resistance without any incandescent bulbs can be too low for even the EL-12 electronic flasher to work properly.
