2001 alarm strange behavior? 2001 SS camaro with the factory alarm:
If you hit the lock button on the key fob, you get a quick "beep beep" from the horn, then about 5-10 seconds after that you'll get a full alarm (horn honks). Any ideas?

Change the battery in your remote for your alarm. If that doesn't fix it buy a new security sensitivity sensor thats located under the passenger rear hatch speaker interior panel. It has a red light on it and a white label that goes across the sensitivity **** on the side.
