Default Dash kit question for the Daily Driver (Ford Escape)

I recently removed the stock head unit with the Ford removal tools (2 bent metal pins) and put a nice Kenwood deck in. Here is my question, in the future when I want to take out the Kenwood to add an amp or Sirius, how do I go about removing the dash kit? Obviously there are no holes on the new dash kit like the stock head unit had. Does the whole trim piece around the stereo and ac controls come off? Thanks in advance

What year ford escape is it? If its the one I'm thinking of (2002ish), the dash piece around the radio does unclip and come off, and the dash kit/radio will come with it

Yes its a 2002. I figured that the trim piece around the entire stereo/ac controls would come off. My question is after I do that, how do I remove the new dash kit. When I installed it, it just clicked in. There are no screws or bolts holding it in.
