Side markers blinking write up

This is a fairly simply modification that people have done since side markers first started in 1968. You cut the ground (black) wire on the side marker and connect the bulb side of the cut wire to the power wire of the corresponding turn signal. Do not cut the turn signal wire, use a ScotchLock or similar connector to tap into the turn signal power wire. For the front turn signals you want to patch into the blue wire on each side. On a Camaro, the left rear turn signal wire is yellow and the right side is dark green. Doing this on the rear of a Firebird is not possible without adding some sort of logic circuit since the rear turn signals and the brake lights share the same power wire (the rear marker lights would go on with the brake lights if wired as described above).
This modification will cause the marker lights to flash in sync with the turn signals when the headlights/parking lights are off and flash opposite the turn signals when the lights are on (i.e. the marker will turn off when the signal light is on and on when the signal light is off).
