Default Rockford Fosgate 1500 watt amp...speakers selection

I currently have two RF 10 inch subs in a back that lays over my ttop holders, its cool to have such a nice sounding (clean deep bass, very snappy but in a good way) system, but i gotta open up that space again. I removed my 12 disk changer and am looking into a stealth box set up, but i want to keep atleast some what of the sound quality i had before.

With a stealth box and 10 inch sub, is the overall sound going to be noticibly inferior to having two 10's in a large box?

Also, the amp specs are 500 watts rms bridged, so i would need a 10 inch sub that would be able to handle a decent amount of watts correct? Im slightly stereo stupid, the current set up i have i basically accidentally made a great sounding combo...

anyhelp or other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Travis
