Anyone know anything about the new gauge clusters/wiring

Anyone know anything about the new gauge clusters/wiring Ive checked many other forums and no one seems to know much about them. Can someone explain to me how the gauge clusters on the newer vettes/gtos work?
Reason i ask is because id like to mold one of them into my custom dash to go with my ls1 swap. Im mostly concerned with the wiring aspects of it though. Say i got all the wiring that comes out of it...would it just be a matter of sitting down with a wiring schematic and splicing it into my stock truck harness? Or is there alot more electrical BS involved ?
