Panasonic CQ-C9901U "sub" question
Well, at the topic sudgests, that's my HU.
Problem is, the sail panel speakers arent hooked up. at all.
I think this may be part of my total lack of bass problem.
My question, is where is the stock amp located in the car, and are the connections for the sail panel speakers (or sub) behind the HU (i'm willing to tear the dash apart to solve this problem).
some of you might be wondering why i didn't hook the speakers up when the HU was installed, well...that's what i get for taking it to "speaker experts".
people who are more interested in selling you more ****, than making your exsisting **** sound as good as it can.
Thanks guys

Thank you.
I didn't even think i had a spare tire =)
Looks like i'll be tearing the "trunk" apart tonight. and looking for a wiring diagram to try to get those working again.
I cant live without at least a LITTLE thump (which the memphis audios do NOT produce. but i guess they arent supposed to.)

That helped a lot. turns out, my "amp" was already hooked up.
So this is my other question, i've looked around the board, but can't find the answer to" How much power does the monsoon amp really make"
I cut the wires to the back panel speakers and wired them into a 10inch 450 W sub.
and hah, that was pathetic. so now i'm thinking of buying a cheap *** 500 watt amp somewhere and hooking that up. (or having someone hook it up, since i have no clue how to do so.)
anways, how much power does that damn thing make?
obvisouly not 450W, unless i did something wrong with the sub wiring =(
