Bad Sub Sound Quality
I have a Fosgate P300.1 mono amp (2 Ohm Stable) that is rated 300 watts at 2 ohms. It made 392 on its Test from the factory. I have it hooked to a MB Quart 10 that is dual 4 ohm voice coils in a Q Logic Truck Wedge box (.65 CF Airspace).
The sub is rated for 400 watts and .75 airspace(Ideal). It is brand new and has been attached with 8 Wood Screws and wired in Paralell (For 2 ohms). It has like a distorsion sound that I can't describe at 75% gain. Also, it seems worse when I advance the crossover past 70Hz. The Power cable is on the right side of the car, RCA's on the left. Would the speaker wire I use (too small maybe) cause this poor sound or is it airspace/lack of break in?
Thanks!

It is all brand new stuff. Except the box. It just sounds like the sub is breaking up or something at the levels. I read somewhere that it takes 20 hours to break in........ I has like 1 hour. 2muchrice, where are you located at in Dallas? I am in Frisco and was wondering if you might look at it in person?
Thanks
