Default Foam baffle for rear speakers

I know the baffles are for water protection up front, but would it help the sound to install them for the hatch speakers since they just hang out in the open air. The hatch speakers being installed are alpine sps-100a's thanks.

most people just remove their hatch speakers, because if they have any kind of a sub or unless its a show car, you wont hear it anyway.

but it will protect the speaker, probably not make your sound any better.

Ok. you will hear your rear speakers, but as fill in sound. (you can't tell it's coming from the back but you can hear it.

It would probably help them make a little more mid bass. Since that panel is not sealed well.

That was the answer I was looking for. Thanks. They are not expensive at all so I guess I will get them and try both ways. Thanks again.
