Z28 monsoon head unit into T\A ???

Z28 monsoon head unit into T\A ??? I have a lady friend that has a 99 Trans Am and her monsoon stereo head unit has knonked out..I found a monsoon head unit from a 2000 Z28 and I would like to know if you can just plug it in the Trans Am's wiring harness and use it without any other modifacations.. 
..the Z28 has bass and trebble ***** where the T\A has a little EQ in the head unit..any help would be appreciated..

Yes, it will plug right in.
There are some differences though. For one, it will look odd - the Firebird head units are dark gray with gray buttons and red illumination, the Camaros are black with black buttons and blue/white illumination. For another, the speed sensitive volume of the Camaro radio won't work because the Firebird doesn't have the speed sensor wire in the radio harness.
