Default Getting an ERROR on my CD-changer

I bought my Z used and was trying out the 12-disc CD changer today. I loaded up the CD's, got in and pushed the CD button, and I could here it selecting the CD, and after about 45 seconds got an ERR message. Is there some wiring I can check or a fix or something? Help appreciated.

That happened to me the first time too. I looked in the manual and found out something kinda weird... you need to put the CD's in upside down, as in, the label will be facing the plastic and the data-side will be exposed. Make sure you did that.

With that said, mine errors out all the time even with them inserted correctly. I typically have to remove the whole magazine and re-insert it and then it works.

The laser could be dirty in the Changer which is typical, needing to be cleaned.

My caddy spits cds out with the Err message until the car/radio warms up for some reason (when its 20 degrees and colder).

Thats about all I can think of!
