You won't have to swap the monsoon system out when installing the alpine to get better sound. Just install the alpine and leave the monsoon system alone and you will be amazed how much better your speakers will sound.
When I put in a pioneer, I left the monsoon system in and the speakers sound so much better then with the stock headunit.l
