Default help me wire my horn!

okay i installed a momo wheel and hooked up the horn wire but i get no horn when i push the horn button.. i am not sure how to hook the horn back up and make it work does anyone know?? when i touch the 2 horn wires together it honks so the horn works i just have no clue how to hook it to the momo wheel anyone know??

It would help to know what kind of car but here goes...

On Camaros, the horn switches get power through the common red wires and go straight to ground through the black wires. On Firebirds, the two switches are wired separately - one with a red power wire and the other with a yellow one. Both switches ground directly to their mounts (no ground wire).

You should only have to connect the appropriate power wire (either one in the case of a Firebird) to the horn ring on the replacement wheel. Then make sure that the wheel itself is grounded to complete the circuit when you press the horn button.
