monsoon amp part number help

Will a monsoon amp out of a 2002 transam work in a 98-02 camaro? Are they the same amps?

If I was you I would put a whole different system in it. That is what I am doing in the morning. I have had enough of the factory setup.

Oops..close, but there was no Monsoon system in Firebirds in 96, the 97 amp was a different part from the 98-02 for both Camaros and Firebirds, the Camaro coupe Monsoon option code is UZ7, and the U59 code applies only to convertibles.
