Default Enclosing Speakers?

Has anyone done this?? My previous car is a '98 Cadillac Seville with the Bose 4.0 System. Every speaker has it's own enclosure which makes for incredible sound. Even the tweaters in the dash have their own enclosure. Too complicated to do on the Camaro? And would there be any benefit? I swapped in some 6x9's that sounded amazing in another car, into my 94 V6 sail panels a few years ago. They went from sounding like 10"s to complete crap once they made it to the Camaro. I'm pretty sure it was an airspace issue. I ended up with only highs and mid-high sound from them after that. And they were connected to way better equipment in the Camaro as well.
