Default Convertible monsoon amp sensor (gray wire) hookup

I am installing an aftermarket HU in my convertible and keeping the monsoon amp. I notice that there is a gray "amp sensor" wire on pin 11 of the C3 stock headunit harness. The wiring harness I bought for the install doesn't have anything hooked to this.

I searched the forum and couldn't find anything about what this should be hooked to. Anyone have any experience with this?

I left it floating and the system runs fine, but I've got a slow current leak that is draining my battery so I'm trying to figure out what I've got messed up.

The amp signal wire was merely to let the factory head unit that an amp was attached. It is totally unnecessary with an aftermarket head unit.
