door sensor?

door sensor? the radio doesnt go off when you open the door any more,,,i have to open the pass. side door for it to cut off...whats has gone out on my door?

Either the driver's side door sensor has failed, is dirty, or there is a bad connection. If I remember correctly, the door sensor is built into the latch.
